      LIS Overview

      The OPEN Healthcare Laboratory Information System (LIS) has been newly developed based on Seegene Medical Foundation’s next-generation SeeLIS system, allowing global application. From a patient’s hospital visit to the physician’s test prescription, specimen collection, testing, result reporting, and result inquiry, the system stores and processes information generated in the workflow of the laboratory. Supporting generation results and quality control.

      The OPEN Healthcare LIS system supports accurate and swift test results, along with standardized laboratory operations. It is designed to reduce test time and emphasize the accuracy of test results by linking results calculated from numerous automated laboratory equipment in real-time.

      LIS Main Features

      Linking Patient Registration and Test Prescription

      Patient information and test prescription information are linked and accurately received.

      Sample Registration and Sample Management

      Each sample is assigned a unique number, and the entire process related to the handling of samples, including transportation and reception, is managed.

      Conducting Tests

      Samples that arrive at automated devices undergo tests based on the assigned unique number, and the results are recorded.

      Result Review

      Applying various quality control rules, such as detecting changes, allows for the identification and resolution of various causes of errors.
