Open Healthcare, a global healthcare company headquartered in Korea, announced on the 14th that it has held an opening ceremony for its Hanoi branch office in Vietnam.
Founded in July 2023 by the Seegene Medical Foundation, Open Healthcare is a Korea-based global healthcare company established to expand international medical services. The company operates overseas branches in Kazakhstan (Almaty), the United States (Los Angeles), and Vietnam (Hanoi), delivering a wide range of healthcare services from diagnostic testing to clinical care and international patient support. Through partnerships with leading Korean medical institutions, Open Healthcare has implemented a Korean-style integrated healthcare model covering diagnosis, treatment, and post-care management.
The opening ceremony was attended by key figures from both Korea and Vietnam, including Chun Jong-gi, Chairman of the Seegene Medical Foundation; Han Gyu-seop, Chief Medical Director; Kang Shin-kwang, Chief Pathology Director; and Lee Bong-woo, Administrative Director. From Open Healthcare, Lee Min-cheol, CEO; Kim Du-hyun, COO; and Park Geon-sang, Chief Medical Officer, were also present.
In addition, approximately 200 guests attended the event, including Pham Minh Quy, Deputy Minister of Health of Vietnam; Pham Van Tac, President of the Vietnam Society of Cancer Immunotherapy; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Hanoi People’s Committee; and Jang Ho-seung, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam.
The ceremony featured welcome remarks, congratulatory speeches, a commemorative launch video, an official declaration of operations, a VIP photo session, and guided tours of the diagnostic laboratories. Following the event, participants engaged in networking sessions aimed at establishing practical collaboration frameworks with local Vietnamese medical institutions.
The Hanoi corporate office of Open Healthcare is equipped with advanced automation systems and the latest molecular diagnostic solutions, and plans to provide accurate and rapid diagnostic testing services to public and private medical institutions as well as individual customers. Leveraging the opening of the Vietnam office, the company aims to enhance the quality of local healthcare services by expanding ▲overseas referral testing and partnerships with public hospitals ▲molecular diagnostic services for private hospitals ▲and B2C business models utilizing clinics and self-testing solutions.
