Open Healthcare Launches ‘Korean Medical Center’ in Kazakhstan

Open Healthcare, a global healthcare specialized company, has officially opened the Korean Medical Center (KMC) in Almaty, Kazakhstan, marking the launch of the largest Korean-style medical facility in Central Asia.

The Korean Medical Center consists of five above-ground floors and one basement level, with a total floor area of 7,134 square meters, integrating Korea’s advanced medical system with digital healthcare technologies to deliver comprehensive medical services.

The center provides end-to-end healthcare solutions, covering disease screening, self-testing, specialized clinics, comprehensive health checkups, diabetes treatment, and both pre- and post-care management. Through this integrated approach, KMC aims to deliver accurate diagnoses and systematic health management tailored to local needs.

The opening ceremony was attended by key figures in the healthcare sector, including Chun Jong-gi, Chairman of the Seegene Medical Foundation; Han Gyu-seop, Chief Medical Director; Kang Shin-kwang, Chief Pathology Director; Lee Min-cheol, CEO of Open Healthcare; Park Geon-sang, Chief Medical Officer; Kim Dae-young, CEO of Open Healthcare Kazakhstan; Min Hee-seok, Medical Director of the Korean Medical Center; and Kang Dae-hee, Director of the Regional Healthcare Innovation Center at Seoul National University.

Lee Min-cheol, CEO of Open Healthcare, stated, “By leveraging Korea’s medical system and digital healthcare solutions, we aim to provide accurate and rapid diagnostic services and contribute to improving public health and advancing medical technologies in Kazakhstan.”
